You're looking at a very solid, complete, running and driving Ford 4-door Custom. A spectacular foundation for a restoration or hot rod. This is a RARE Montana barn find! Exterior: Body is very straight for a 57', and complete. Front bumper is spectacular. Rear bumper is great for a driver or rod. Other chrome is in very good condition. Call for any specifics. Interior: Interior needs work like most original 57's, but is suitable as is for a 'driver'. Seat frames and springs are in good shape. Seats move as they should. Door panels are in decent shape. Needs carpet and seats mainly. Doors and windows move/close/open/lock as they should. The doors close/open with very little effort. I'm surprised how well they close, and how the body lines match up. No sag, or latch issues. Motor: V8 motor. Unsure if it's a 292 or 312. Starts every time. Does NOT burn oil, sound foul, knock, etc. Produces upwards of 60ls. oil pressure. Has plenty of zip, and with the over drive can run down the interstate with the crowd just fine. Transmission: (3) speed manual transmission on the tree with pull cable Overdrive! Clutch operates smooth with no snags, and trans shifts as it should. Overall mechanical - I've put several thousand miles on the car with no issues. Has classic glass-packs and sounds great. 116,868 miles. Clear and clean Montana title. Electrical/Gauges: Appears to be mostly fully functional. All head lights, tails lights, blinkers (including dash indicators) work as they should. Blower motor functions just fine. Speedometer does not function (most likely a cable, have not checked). Fuel gauge works. Aftermarket water temp and oil pressure gauges. I'd prefer you call me to talk about the car, hard to describe a vehicle of this age.
