1935 Chrysler C6 Sedan I purchased this car in 1989 from a long time Chrysler collector in Lockport N.Y. The car received a frame up restoration in 1991. The complete interior was done as well (including head liner, carpets and door panels) and still looks great and gets many compliments. The wide white wall tires were bought new when the car was done and are still in good shape (no dry rot or blemishes). Bumpers were re-chromed. The black paint still shines and looks great from 10 feet, though it does have some small nicks, and blemishes. The mechanicals have been gone through including a general tune up, valve job, water and fuel pumps, hoses, belts, carb rebuild, new exhaust etc. The gas tank was cleaned/flushed, lines replaced where necessary, all brakes, hoses and cylinders were replaced. I don't think I have put 3000 miles on it since doing all this. Unfortunately I have not had it out more than a few times in the last four years. This car, like all old cars, needs to be driven. I just took the car for a ride and other than a slight rattle in the suspension (feels like a shock in the rear) it reminded me how much I love the ride of these old mopars. Even though it's very hard to let this car go, I have run out of excuses of why I should keep it, especially since I need the funds to complete a few other projects. Its a really good looking, solid car and shows very well, considering that it was done 20-some years ago. It would be great as a enjoyable driver now, or it wouldn't take much at all to spiff back up to show status. I have a clear title.
