1972 Ford F-350, 1 ton Dually, 390 cid, 4 spd. 4.10:1 Dana 70 Edelbrock Performer intake Edelbrock Carb. Crane Fireball ignition RV style cam Here's a great old work truck that pulls strong and runs great. I bought this truck awhile back for hauling some trailers that I needed moved. Boy did it do the job. Always starts right up and goes like hell. Will run all day at 65 MPH, and gets an honest 11.2 MPG doing it. Body is in good condition for a 40+ year old truck, no major dents, no rust on the body or cab, only a little in the front, inside corner of the bed where water sits. Decent tires, all fluids kept up. I don't know much about the history, but the motor seems to be fairly low mileage, likely rebuilt, does not smoke or leak. The trans shifts good, no grinding, a little slop in the shifter pins (side swing), but 40+ years of grabbin' gears, I'd expect that. Brakes all good, drum/drum. Master cylinder leaks out of the top gasket a little, needs a new seal. Vacuum booster good. Power steering works good, but leaks a little from somewhere, haven't looked at it close. No alignment issues. Tires have decent tread, no leaks. One front needs to be balanced, there's a little wobble/vibration between 55-60 MPH. Interior pretty decent, seat is torn on drivers side where you slide in and out. Has a carpet and dash mat. no radio, but not cut up. The cab and body are in good shape, small nicks, dings, but no dents. Bed sides are good, but are loose and flop a bit when the tailgate is off. Needs some welding underneath. Great custom built, heavy duty back bumper and hitch. Heater core is not in the truck, but I have a tested replacement that comes with it. I've tried to include everything and am honest about the condition. for a 41 year old work truck, this thing is in good condition. But, it hasn't been restored and is no show truck. It runs great, as a great classic look. So please, ask any questions that you may have prior to bidding. I have a clean Arizona title that will be signed and notarized upon sale. I have the room, and can keep the truck safe and covered for 90 days after sale ends, and full payment is made, I'll send the title to you, and you pick up the truck at your convenience.
