This jeep is the standard 258 cu in (4.2 L) AMC I6 engine and Dana 300 5-speed trans. I know that the rear axle was upgraded at some point before I owned it because I had a brake job done on it last year and the brake guy said he had to figure out what brake pads to get. I currently have it parked in a garage in Pismo Beach Ca.. It is used for the last3 years as a extra vehicle to run around Pismo. It has seen the dunes but just to cruise around a couple of times. I have had no trouble with it other than brake job and I put a new carburetor on last year. It runs real good and looks better.
