The vehicle currently had 93,833 miles and 9,603 engine hours as of the end of the end of April 2013 when it was removed from service as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. Since that time through the beginning of Aug 2013, the vehicle was driven approximate 75 miles per week by engineering interns in the Public Works Department. The odometer display is no longer functioning and it is estimated the vehicle has approximately 95,000 miles currently on it. To have this repaired will require the buyer to have a Ford dealer remove the instrument cluster to have repaired/replaced. The vehicle appears to drive well with no apparent issues present. The tires have approximately 30 - 40% tread remaining on the tires. The spare tire needs repaired. The exterior is in fair condition. The front bumper has multiple light nicks & scratches present. The hood has light scratches present. The Driver side front fender has light scratches & the paint is starting to peel with an approximately quarter size spot visible to the paint primer. The roof has 4 plugged & sealed holes from where the light bar & multiple antennas were previously mounted. There are also some scratches & minor rust on the roof edges near the center of the roof from where the light bar was mounted. The driver side doors and door moldings have multiple light scratches, nicks & dings present. The driver side C-pillar and quarter panel has some light scratches present. The trunk has some light scratches & 1 plugged & sealed hole present. The passenger side rear wheel well has some light surface rust present on the top edge. The passenger side front fender has a few minor, light scratches & nicks present. The interior is in fair condition. There are multiple pen marks present on the headliner. There is 1 small screw hole present on the dash to the right of the steering column. There are 2 small screw holes in the center floorboard between the two front seats from previously having a police console mounted. There are 2 rectangular cutouts in the b-pillar trim from where the center prisoner cage was previously mounted. The driver’s seat bottom & the driver’s seat back has some tears in it from normal wear. The backs of both seatback’s has some small rectangular indentations/tears from the seat rubbing against the prisoner cage when installed. There is an indentation and 2 small screw holes present in the headliner from where the prisoner cage was mounted and in the rear of the vehicle where the arrow stick was previously mounted. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Feb 2013 at 93,012 miles. At this service, the battery was replaced. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Mar 2013, the blower motor was replaced. In Jan 2013, at 91,746 miles, one of the tires was repaired & the TPMS sensor reset. In Dec 2012, at 88,679 miles, the right rear brake light bulb was replaced. In Oct 2012, at 86,088 miles, the front tires, rear brake pads & rear rotors were replaced. Also, the steel rims were repainted. In Aug 2012, at 82,951 miles, the air bag jewel & ABS control module were replaced. In Jun 2012, at 79,253 miles, the fuel cap was replaced. In Apr 2012, at 76,914 miles, the air conditioner condenser assembly was replaced & system refilled. Additionally, the front brake pads & rotors were replaced. Also in Apr 2012, at 76,909 miles, one tire was repaired & the TPMS sensor reset. In Mar 2012, at 75,650 miles, the master window switch controls were replaced. In early Mar 2012, at 75,240 miles, the idler pulley, water pump, serpentine belt, & belt tensioner were replaced. In Feb 2012, at 74,365 miles, three tires were replaced. In Dec 2011, at 71,336 miles, the right front marker light bulb & left front tire were replaced. In Nov 2011, at 70,298 miles, the windshield was replaced. Also in Nov 2011, at 70,295 miles, the right side of the car had minor accident damage repaired at a local auto body repair facility & the car returned to service as a marked patrol car. In June 2011, at 63,678 miles, the left rear tire was repaired. In May 2011, at 63,248 miles, the vehicle was repainted as a result of a paint recall by Ford Motor Company. In Apr 2011, at 60,720 miles, the passenger airbag disable light was replaced. In Mar 2011, at 59,163 miles, the right front tire was replaced. Also in Mar 2010, at 36,775 miles, the left rear turn signal bulb was replaced. In Feb 2010, at 34,648 miles, the left headlamp bulb was replaced. In Nov 2009, at 29,687 miles, the blower motor & battery were replaced. In Oct 2009, at 28,318 miles, the air bag jewel was replaced under warranty at the local Ford dealer. Also in Oct 2009, at 28,312 miles, the right front marker light bulb was replaced. In Aug 2009, at 24,956 miles, the right rear turn signal bulb was replaced. In July 2009, at 23,332 miles, all four tires were replaced. In Apr 2009, at 17,894 miles, the front brake pads & rotors were replaced. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
