Thank you for taking the time to look at our 1957 Cadillac Coupe Deville. As you can see in all of the pictures, the car does photograph very well and in person it really is a clean old Cadillac for being 56 years old. I purchased the car from a gentleman who bought the car for his wife. Even though she enjoyed driving the car they had other cars too and so they sold this car from their beautiful collection. I purchased the car and just cleaned it up a little bit more and offered it for sale. The engine and transmission operate correctly like the car was brand new. In case some lookers didn’t know, it does have a 4 speed automatic transmission which enables the Cadillac to get really good gas mileage. It also has power steering and brakes and AM radio. The Coupe Deville Model comes with a nicer interior than the standard Cadillac had. I believe the interior to be all original. The car has been repainted because they did not use pink in 1957. The front bumper is absolutely beautiful. The rear bumper in the future could be fixed or changed to match the front. The headliner of the car (outside of a couple little bad spots) is in good shape. The body of the car is clean, but being that it has been painted I’m sure that there is some filler under the paint. The car was probably painted 10 or 15 years ago and still looks fantastic. All of the glass on the car is good. Things that need to be fixed: The frame is solid but the floors are weak. In the future the new owner may want to put in new floors that cover the front and rear seating area. The passenger rear window, according to the previous owner was working and no one knows why now it decided to stop working. It does have the beautiful Wonderbar radio with the extra factory speaker on the floor, but it is presently not working. It could be a wire or it could be a tube. I would also like to mention that the battery is new, the motor department is super clean, the trunk is all solid and the car really does run well. If you’re the lucky winner not only will you have a nice looking car, you also will have a great running car. In addition, the fuel pump, brake lines, and I think the brakes, are all newer. All four tires are in excellent shape. Please check the pictures. The lights on the car do work and the exhaust is very quiet going down the road. The gentleman that I purchased this car from received the title with actual miles, but when he put it in his name he checked not actual because he said that he had no way of knowing if they were the actual miles or not because the car is so old. So even though the miles on this car are probably actual, the title will read "not actual". I am selling this car no reserve, which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over wins my classic car. I am also selling this car as-is because there is no way that I can put a warranty on a car from 1957. I would like to invite all perspective buyers to come out and drive if they would like before they bid. I would like the car paid for within 48 hours of the auction ending either by cash or wire transfer. We will not do: checks, Paypal or credit cards.
