This 1992 Ford F350 Was converted to a car hauler when new. The truck was a two owner when I purchased it 2 months ago from Bates Ford. The original owner was a classic car collector so the truck was used for private use. The 2nd owner was a new Ford Dealer, Bates Ford and have a classic car business that they used the truck for. Last winter the truck developed a problem loosing coolant, it was traced down to a problem with the block seeping coolant in a cylinder. They purchased a new reman Long Block engine for the truck which now has a roughly three thousand miles on it. At the time of engine replacement they installed new injectors,starter,steering box, a/c, batteries,u joints,carrier bearing and power window motors. The truck is in fine condition and ready to hit the road. The body on the truck is in great condtion with no rust in the cab or bed. The original black paint is thin in a spot or two and has a few chips here and there but no major damage at all. The only bodywork is a spot on the roof the size of my hand that has been fixed and is now showing. The bed is a Hodges 18 ft. When Bates Ford purchased the truck they decided to lengthen the bed and the ramps two ft to assist with loading cars that sit very low to the ground. The bed is now 20 ft long for easy loading of low vehicles. They installed the Superwinch 8500 LB winch on the truck since they owned it. The tires are in great condition as well as the glass with only one stone chip in the windshield. The interior has been well kept, they recently pulled a huge mat out of the front floors revealing a very nice original carpet. The drivers seat show some wear on the edge and the passengers armrest doesnt work properly. The truck is optioned with power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control and cold a/c. Power steering, power disc brakes, 7.3 diesel engine and automatic with overdrive transmission. The truck is very dependable and trustworthy, they upgraded to a crew cab and offered this truck for sale. I bought the truck and a 1970 Dodge car, loaded the car and drove from Nashville, TN to my home in Temple, TX logging some 850 miles with no issues at all. I have driven the truck in the Temple, TX area another 100 miles or so but find that I will not be using it as it is intended and decided to list for auction on eBay. I'll assure you it is strong running and most dependable. I'd crank it up and hit the road to buy more cars anywhere, any distance without any concerns. Currently I have too many cars and am not using the truck as I originally thought that I would. Dont miss this one!
