Vehicle Detail
This would be a decent first car for someone. I had it looked at to put it back in show room condition, and the price was $8,000 so that was out of the question for me, but i wanted it to be a good driver, and cruiser. I am selling because i have other cars, that i would rather put my money in. Mechanically This car has a brand new Radiator, Waterpump, Alternator, 100% all new brake system( master cylinder, boost, all new lines and hoses, new pads, calipers, all of it, is all brand new.) Transmission has probably less then 25,000 miles on it. The transmission levels were always consistent and never had any problems. Engine was put in back in 2000. The engine was painted Ford Blue, and was put in after I bought the car. The engine ran good, as I drove the car every day, until about 6 months ago when The oil pump went out. I will no longer start the car. the last time i did, the the oil pressure gauge never came up, and it had been leaking/Burning oil. I always kept the level at full, would check it before every start. the levels were on full, but no oil pressure. it has a brand new rearend Ford 8.8. the top is newer. the back piece is not included when you buy a new top, so its original to car, but the top itself is only about three years old. It has new Fuel pump, and fuel filter, has a $600 speaker system. I do not any longer have the exact miles on the car. I had them written down as well as all the work I had done to it, but lost all of that in a Tornado in 2006. the car was not in the storm, and was 2 hours away at the time, but the storm destroyed my apartment complex. The interior: the drivers seat is obviously used,& has a small hole in it, the seams are getting bad. the other seats r actually in good condition, minus the stains.the dash is good, the centre console is in good shape Red/Red. W/Black upper dash,& steering wheel. the two back interior quarter panels are cracked, but are functional. the carpet and the seats are stained, but a shampoo would fix that. Another car of mine had worse stains, and they all came out. A/C & heat worked, but i would recharge A/C the Exterior. the paint was redone in 2002, but needs redone. the front nose is cracked, and both fenders have damage. the Driver Fender, and nose cone are covered up by the bra, but the passenger fender had a fight with a shelving unit, that came crashing down. *see pix* none of the damage effect the cars ability to be driven. The driver side has rust on the body, under the door. the door itself is fine, and behind the driver rear wheel is all rusted out. The passenger is in much greater condition. I used to call the car two face, because drivers side was messed up, and the passenger side was show room condition. the back deck lid is rusted out, and needs replaced. if you really wanted to fix it up, but is functional and works as intended. the Top goes up and down as needed. The drivers and passengers front windows go up and down as needed. the rear passenger window goes up and down (has new motor) the Drivers side is in need of a new Motor. it will stay up , but not go up on its own power. will go down fine by itself. The wheels are in decent shape, needs tires. before driven in winter. the passenger door needs its hinges aligned. All the exterior lights work fine, lenses are as i remember to be all perfect, but i cannot say that i go and look at them every day. AS I HAVE STATED: This car is not currently in driving condition. it will need an oil pump, cost 300$. I would take a look at the engine for damage. I am not a mechanic, i do not know if it is damaged or not. a salvage engine runs for 600$ and you would have all the parts from engine in the car, to put on the new one. the thing about this car is that other then the engine, all the other mechanical components are practically brand new. Its not a car that should just be thrown into the crusher. there are a lot of good parts. 97% of the car should be either stripped down for parts, or put the 3% of the parts in it for it to be a good driver. i am selling it at a price that is more then a scrapper can get for it. so no scrappers. THE TITLE IS A CLEAR, IOWA TITLE. NO WARRANTY, SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS. THE CAR IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY, SO MAY BE REMOVED FROM EBAY AT ANY TIME. if you want to call or email me that is fine, just write me a message on ebay, and i will send you my info. Ebay charges for more pictures, so if you want more, tell me what you want more of, and i will send them to you via email.. The BAD: . car has rust. see pictures. MUST BE TOWED. NO WARRANTY AT ALL.
