Vehicle Detail

This hot rod took 3 years to restore. I have driven it approximately 1,500 miles since its completion. This car drives straight, starts every time, even after sitting all winter. This a great car and is in very near-perfect condition. I don't want to sell it but I am retiring to another country and that country will not allow it to be imported. So, I am a putting it up for sale. I've shown this car locally six times, have 3 trophies with the highest place being 3rd. Interior/Exterior: NC Classic Restorations did all the body work and paint. The old paint was removed down to metal and the new PMG paint seven step paint they applied. They also did the interior which is light gray and white. The seats are low-profile white Scat. They were the only seats I found that did not set way above the body's profile. Doors are hung correctly allowing them to open and close properly. Door handles are shaved. It is an '31 original steel. It also has an original windshield and frame that was chopped. The top is white vinyl and custom made by Auto Interiors and Tops located in the Raleigh NC area. Firewall is chrome. Frame/Suspension: Is a Ford Model T. Rear suspension is coil springs, sway bar and shocks. Front suspension is a Super Bell straight axle with a 6" drop and Pro Shocks. Drive Train: The engine is 350 (~375hp), Comp T/A is a high torque 5,200 red-line cam. MSD distribution. Turbo 350 transmission with a standard torque converter and cooler. Ford 9" differential with 3.01 gearing. Dual 500cfm and Edelbrock performer manifold. High capacity ARCO radiator. Electric and manual cooling fans. Holley electric fuel pump. Loads of chrome. M/T radials. Cragar 15" wheels, 10" rear deep-dish. Steering column and box is from '68 manual steering Pontiac Firebird. Electrical: Turn signals, horn, emergency flashers, head lights with dimmer, tail lights, AM/FM/CD/IPOD.
