Vehicle Detail

We bought this car about a year and a half ago and started working on it immediately. When we originally got the Corvair we were going back and forth between Minnesota and Florida so we kept this car in Florida and used it when we were down there. I got relocated to Minnesota full time for work now and we don't get the opportunity to use it nearly as much as we would like to so we have decided to sell it. It has been sitting in a storage unit and a mechanic who's shop is next door to the storage unit has been stopping by to drive the car about once a month. We have completely restored the vehicle with the majority of the interior and exterior being brand new. The car is not in perfect condition as there is some minor pitting in some of the chrome, but overall it is in phenomenal condition. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere or show it at any car show. We really don't want to have to sell it as it is now is now fully restored, but we have a baby on the way and are tired of paying the monthly storage fee to store it. We have over 14k into the car between the price we paid and the restoration costs. Our loss is your gain. We hope to sell it to someone who will truly appreciate the car and all the hard work we have put into restoring it. All parts for the restoration were either new or restored and purchased from Clark's so you know everything was quality. The car was repainted to original color and it gets looks everywhere we go with it. I had the interior done with custom leather, carpet, and door panels and as the pictures show, the car really pops. The car has the 110 HP engine which makes the car a little more rare. Please don't hesitate to ask about any questions you may have regarding the car. When we originally bought the Corvair we were living as snowbirds in Florida in the Fall/Winters & back in Minnesota during the Spring/Summers. The car is not in perfect condition as there is some minor pitting in some of the chrome, but it is not very noticeable as the majority of the chrome is in incredible condition. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere or show it at any car show. Please Note- If you notice in the picture that shows the back of the car, one of the fake air vents is missing. When I took the pictures, we had not yet received the new re-chromed vent. The air vent, along with a newly chromed glove box door will be shipped with the car. We really don't want to have to sell it as it is now is now fully restored, but we have a baby on the way and are tired of paying the monthly storage fee to store it.
