1979 Volkswagen Camper bus Pristine!!! Up for your consideration is a exceptionally nice camper bus. This vehicle has been thoroughly restored with no shortcuts or expense spared. It began as a rust free all original Colorado bus that had paint and other minor cosmetic issues. The bus was completely disassembled, painted then reassembled paying particular attention in using quality correct replacement parts. Such as all rubber glass seals including wind shield side glasses and rear window. The window scrapers in front doors were also replaced to give the paint job a super clean look. The tires are new and also the correct rating for the bus, which is important to handling. This bus runs and handles great . The fuel injection system gives the bus excellent performance. The suspension is very tight. It shifts through the gears like new. The interior is very nice and clean as seen in pics. The camping equipment has not been tested but appears to be complete.The cabinets are nice, but not perfect. The tent is in good shape along with the child's cot. The front door panels are new as well as the front kick panels. The dash is also in good shape as everything on the instrument works well, including the emergency brake warning light . The engine and drive train has no known issues. The miles (73000) are actual on the original engine. It runs crisp and smooth as it should. The distributor has been replaced with an electronic ignition distributor for obvious reasons. All other engine components are original. All high pressure fuel hoses have been replaced. There's a hole in the headliner under the sun visor.Also a minor stress crack in the paint behind the spare tire.Barely noticeable with the spare tire on but should be mentioned. Other than those 2 issues there is nothing else wrong with this vehicle. You would be hard pressed to find another similar bus in this condition".
