Vehicle Detail

Hello there. I’ve had this Wagoner for 14 years. I’ve driven it in California, Florida and mainly in Charlotte NC where I live. It was my primary mode of Transport for several years. I have taken very good care of it, always. The main cosmetic defect is the tear on the driver’s seat. I also had to replace the light switch with a toggle switch. The Engine was removed / rebuilt and refitted in 2006. I’ve only put 10k on that motor. The wife had it re painted for my birthday in August, to the tune of $2600.00. It’s not a show room job, but it’s decent. I put 4 new Pirelli tires on it recently for the winter. There is less than 20 miles on them. With all we’ve done to the Jeep, we did have the intention to keep it, but I just can’t justify it anymore. I just don’t drive it enough. It’s time to go to a new home, fresh set of eyes and hands. The Wagoner is a fabulous vehicle. The 4x4 is excellent. Marvelous machine for camping. I’m 6’2” and I can sleep comfortably on a blow up mattress in the back. The rear seats fold and come out to make an excellent leather camp fire couch. I’m just so used to the thing it’s hard to list all abnormalities…. It starts and runs perfectly…as you’d imagine from a rebuild with 10k on it. It shifts smoothly. I installed a carter electric fuel pump for the times I’d leave it laid up for a few months. I had the headliner replaced and the guys shorted the dome light, the back window does up and down on the key, but not the switch on the dash. Anyone that know anything about Jeeps…that’s an A+++ electric report card. There is a bit of slack in the rear diff. If you sit on the drive way and go from R to D to R to D, you can hear it. But you won’t notice it under normal driving. The CD is a decent Pioneer. I have the original too. It’s a hoot to drive. It turns heads, and people approach me at gas stations jus to talk about it. Everything else works. AC / Heat / 4X4 / lights / Gauges etc....one or two of the windows in the rear are a bit slow from nonuse. That’s about all I can think of. Well that’s about it. I’ll be sick to see it go. But its time. Thanks for reading and bidding.
