1939 Chevrolet Master DeluxeOlder restoration in very good condition!Original 216 Inline Six w/ 3 speed on column.Same owner for last 24 years! This is a well-kept '39 Chevrolet Master Deluxe that would be a great vehicle for any collector or classic car enthusiast. This car was restored in 1989 and it has lived a pretty pampered life as a "Sunday driver" ever since. The interior was redone locally by Ken Howe's Upholstery at that time. A new paint job and engine rebuild also occurred at this time. The odometer reads 05250. I would estimate that it has rolled over and 105,250 might be the actual mileage. The Chevy is in very original type condition. The mechanical brakes were upgraded to hydraulic brakes about 14 years ago. For safety's sake this was a very good improvement! The Master Deluxe is running the original 6 volt electrical system. Recent updates have included the battery, voltage regulator, starter, and generator. This is a floor starter, and it starts very nicely. It sounds whisper quiet and shifts just like a '39 Chevy should! I don't believe the radio works, but the other lights and heater fan seemed to work great. This did not come with turn signals, but is legal in its original configuration. While the '39 Chevy retains much of the same drivetrain and setup of the '37 and '38 Chevy, the '39 Chevy trim and styling is a bit more refined. Many say that the '39 Chevy looks more like a Cadillac with its eloquent styling! The suicide rear doors are very neat, and the back seat and trunk are very roomy to say the least!
