Up for auction is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute car. The car has a rebuilt 454, and backed by a rebuilt 400 trans. The car runs and drives, and is a head turner. The car starts right up, no smoking or knocking, and is ready to cruise. The car has power steering, and power disc brakes. The car was set to be a project but, I never got around to it. It's a running/ driving car that you can restore as you go. The car has been in the desert for many years, and before that it was built it Texas, and that's where it stayed prior to ending up in Vegas. The car drives nice, and stops straight. The car has sat for some time now, and should have a tune up and once over before any long trips. The car will be sold to the highest bidder, and NO RESERVE!! Engine/ Trans: The engine is a rebuilt 454, 2 bolt main motor with about 5000 miles on it, The motor is topped off with a 4 barrel intake and a Quadrajet carb. It has been upgraded to Electronic ignition. The power steering works great and I don't see any leaks in the system. The engine starts right up and does not smoke or knock. It looks nice and dry also with no visible leaks. The car runs cool here in Vegas, and the motor breathes through a newer dual exhaust system. The trans is a smooth shifting turbo 400 that is sealed up nice and tight. Interior/ Exterior: The interior has new carpet, new dash pad, new seat upholstery front and rear, new headliner, and overall is pretty clean. The door panels are new also. The windshield is new, and the other glass is in good shape. The windows roll up and down just like they should. The doors close ok, and the body line are good. The speedo works, lights work, blinkers work, but the horn does not work. The car still has the Malibu dash bezel. The exterior sports a older paint job, that shows well from a few feet away. It's a driver type quality paint job, not a show quality job. The previous owner indicated the paint job was about 6 years old. It shows normal wear and tear. The body lines on the car are good, the bumpers are in decent shape also. The floor pans look good, frame rails look good too. The trunk had part of the pan replaced in the past. The door jams look good, and the bottom of the doors are good.The tires have good tread on them but, have some cracking from the heat here and being parked. The Rallye rims are in pretty good shape. The car is being sold " AS IS " due to it's age and condition. The car is a Daily Driver type car. The winning bidder will be required to pay a $1000 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of winning the car. The deposit must be paid through Paypal. The remaining balance is due within 3 days of the auction closing, and that balance can be paid with a cashiers check, bank check, wire transfer or cash in person.
