Vehicle Detail
1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider AR373359 I am listing this car for my father. He purchased the car around 15 years ago. It ran when he purchased it. The brakes were out then and were never fixed. He has stored the car in our warehouse and starts it every few years. It will run but it won't stop. The Alfa will require a full restoration. · Car appears to have the original paint and is a very original car. · Has typical rust in all the typical spots, so will require a lot of rust work. · The outside body pan under right bumper is bent up pretty good. It can be straightened. · The left side outer body has rust on the front rocker under front of the door. · The rear rocker has rust before the front of the wheel. · The right side of outer body, the rocker is pretty nice. · The rear fender arch has rust at both bottoms. · The trunk floor is rusted out by the batter box, a section should be replaced. · The under of the car is pretty rusty on drivers side. · The rail the rocker attaches to is pretty rusty. · The section where the rear traction bar and rear floor board is will need to be replaced. · The front section of the floor board and floor board will need replacing. · The right side underneath of car is pretty solid. Small amount of rust on rail rocker attaches to. · Right front floor board has rust hole. · The seat frames will require some work - they are not the best. · Parts that are missing for sure: seat tracks, window crank handle, spare tire, jack. This car is restorable for sure, but will require someone who knows Alfas and the proper way to fist rust. . The car is about 90% complete (most likely more complete than that). We have no loose parts expect for the gas tank to start the car. The title is in my father's name. It is in St. Louis five minutes from the arch. We can store the car for 30 days unless other arrangements are made and the car is paid for in full. We do require a $500 deposit by paypal within 24 hours of auction ending. All funds must be cleared before car can be released. I will be happy to answer any questions by email. My father can be reached at 314-238-4666 before 9:00 pm central time. He is 71 years old and goes to bed early, but it always at the warehouse at 7 am Monday through Friday, so he can view the car while on phone to answer questions.
