The vehicle was used between Oklahoma and Denver by a utilities company. It looks very presentable, runs and drives very well, and it has tilt, cruise, built in tow equipment/controller and the XLT upholstery still being an XL. The truck is dry underneath, everything works, it hasn't seen a gooseneck hitch, and it's priced very reasonably for a diesel. If you need a good heavy work truck this is a sound choice with a lot miles yet to travel. exterior The paint and body on this truck are good and straight. The doors all open and close fine, everything lines up, no rust, hail, or noticeable body damage at all. The history reports read clean, no accidents. The wheels look fine, tires have decent tread. It's not new, but should be fine for a while yet, and they're evenly worn indicating good frequent rotation and tight front end. The truck came in with a ding in the right front fender so we had that painted, the rest is all original. The brush guard sits right up against the grille, so it takes a little finesse to open and close, we've seen this a lot on Fords. The bumper is dented behind the brush guard insert, just cosmetic and you cant' even hardly see it, there's no damage to the coolers. The rear bumper is bumped at both lower center sections, but we screwed the trim down, and again, hard to see. The photos document it well, nice looking truck for work or otherwise, perfectly suitable for daily use. interior The interior is fine as well. The upholstery is free of rips or bad stains. It has a few little black speckles, doesn't reek of smoke inside. The truck is aptly equipped, does have tilt, cruise, and nice cold air. This is the same upholstery they put in the XLT models, Ford has about 6 grades of upholstery and this is 3+. There's a power inverter under the rear seat, I haven't checked it over. Everything else works fine inside. There's some holes in the dash center where equipment was mounted. It has a few scratches on the plastic inside and wear inside the door pockets. It was used for work, not abused, but it's not your typical lawn ornament. You'll need to spend 30k+ for that. mechanical This rig runs great and it came in that way. We put 150 miles on it since purchase and have no complaints. It fires easy and has good batteries. The motor is smooth. I know a rattly 6.4. We've sold a hundred or so and I've heard several times that run. The truck has been through our shop, has new oil, filter, fuel filter and we took care of a few other little details. The brake pad life is 60%+ in front and about 1/2 in rear. There's no wet leaks, trans fluid is red, 4x works and it shifts easy. The low tire pressure light is on, they always come on in these and typically we don't bother with them. These trucks are very durable and it's nice to buy the fleet ones because you don't have to rely on the average Joe to remember to change the oil.
