Vehicle Detail
This is a really fine example of this bike. I have been the owner since 1968, but it has been at my fathers house for most of those years in a carriage house. It has new tires and battery, newer wiring, new tail light and signals. It has been tuned up with new plug, new oil and transmission fluid. This bike has not been restored to this nice of condition for a long time. The engine has great compression and can go to 45 miles an hour on flat roads and 55 mph on a down hill. I weigh 270 and it pulls me fine. I'm asking top dollar for this unit because I know the history and have taken good care of the bike. It has a clear title, warranty card and instruction booklet. Bikes this old and in this good of shape are very hard to find. If I don't sell it, that's OK with me. I've put about $500.00 in this bike recently, to get it up to excellent running shape. It starts on the first or second crank and idles very smooth. This is the last time I will list this motorcycle. I can't stress enough that this bike runs great and hasn't run this good for years. The person that restored this bike for me really knew how to fix the issues I had. Because I changed the wiring and the battery regulator, it starts on the first or second kick after sitting for over 10 days or so. This bike can be shipped but the prices I received ranged from $500.00 to $750.00 for shipping from my zip code (37752). Check my feed back. I don't lead people on or sell sub standard items. Like I said, I have had this bike since 1969. It has not passed from person to person. Most of the miles were on rolling hills of the Gamble estate in Cincinnati. I never really had it on the street that often. The engine has not been taxed at all.
