Vehicle Detail

Sale fell through - Relisted! I have a clean Utah title in my name for this vehicle. Please note this vehicle is titled with the engine number as the VIN number on the title. It was titled this way in California it's whole life. I had to have a police officer inspect the vehicle in order to title it in Utah and there was no problem. I know many older vehicles were titled this way, but please make sure you can title this vehicle in your state before bidding. If you would like additional pictures, please let me know. This beautiful Suburban has been in my family for 15 years. It’s an original California car, once owned by San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE) and used as an inspector’s vehicle. Original color is white. It still has the original 235ci straight six cylinder engine. It has been in Salt Lake City for 6 years and never been driven in the winter. The Suburban runs and drives good. I did notice the turn signals were not working last time I drove it. I'm sure it's an easy fix. The battery doesn't hold a charge for very long, so I will provide a replacement battery to make sure it gets on a car hauler without a problem. The body is in good shape with one spot above the passenger door being the only place I can see where some bodywork was done. The chassis and interior are really clean, please look at the pictures. The wood floor is in great shape even from the bottom side. This Suburban makes for a great weekend cruiser or can be used as a shop truck for hauling with the rear seats out. It would look great with your company logo on it! A 327ci shortblock with camelhump heads is included in the deal (not installed). I also have Blue Streak mufflers that go with it. The upholstery, including third row seat, is very nice and redone as original. This thing is old and slow but very fun and gets A LOT of looks. The wheels and hubcaps are off a '70 International, but I have the original wheels and quite a few spare parts including a carburetor and fuel pump. I removed the exterior badging and glass taillights and have those in a box as well. Terms - I am not accepting PayPal on this auction. I am committed to selling this vehicle, do not bid if you are not equally committed to finalizing the purchase. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make payment arrangements. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 is required within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Final payment for the balance due must be made within 3 business days of the close of the auction via Wire Transfer, Certified Funds or personal check drawn on Wells Fargo or Chase bank ONLY. The vehicle will not leave my garage until all funds have cleared at my local bank. Buyer is responsible for vehicle and 327 engine pick-up and/or shipping. Please note that all sales are binding and final. This car is sold in "as-is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied. The vehicle is available by appointment for inspection prior to bidding. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle and to have satisfied themselves as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. This vehicle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Bidders with no feedback, negative feedback, or with bid retractions must contact me prior to bidding. Winning this auction obligates you to purchase this car at the auction ending price. There will be no renegotiation. On Jul-13-13 at 14:46:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction! Based on the stampings, the engine is a 1968 307 2 bolt main, not a 327. I apologize for the mistake. I turned the engine over by hand with the oil pan removed and it moves freely without binding. The heads are camelhump, 1966-67 small valve.
