I am re-listing this car because the person who bought it is in another country and failed to make payment. Please note: Sale to US buyer only, please do not bid unless you are in the USA. This is the desirable small bumper 2.0 liter 1973 Porsche 914. I recently purchased this car from a Dentist in Illinois but have decided to sell it rather than ship it to the West coast where I live. The car is located in Elmhurst, Illinois 15 miles southwest of Chicago O'Hare Airport. Strong running 2.0 and runs well, starts right up and shifts nicely as well. The odometer reads 104k miles and it holds oil very well. The engine has small oil leak, one drop every 6 months to a year. The heat is connected and puts out a lot of heat. Car was originally black, repainted at one point to red. Paint is about 15 years old, not Concourse but attractive. The aluminum trim is in nice condition and the chrome bumpers are excellent. A new battery tray was just installed. Door gaps are good. Overall, the floor pan in very solid. There is some rust in the rear triangle area for the floors on each side (see pictures). There are 5 Fuchs rims including the spare, all in good shape but could use some polishing. The carpets are very nice. There are a couple cracks in the dash, a couple small tears in the seats and back pad. The car has the Appearance package with three gauges in the center console. The brakes work very well utilizing a 19mm 911 master cylinder. The front rotors, wheel bearings and pads are new. Front calipers were rebuilt several years ago. Rear rotors and pads have not been replaced. Heat exchanger is stainless steel. Leather steering wheel. Car comes with two tops and a few spare parts. Car could be driven home or shipped.
