Up for sale is my 1960 Cadillac Coupe deVille with 80,620 original miles. VIN#60J112666. Equipment include power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, dual exhaust, outside remote rear view mirror, autronic eye, power windows and power seat. This is a non-A/C car. The exterior is black with a white/black leather/cloth combination interior. This is an extremely nice, straight and solid example of an original Coupe deVille that has not been restored but maintained over the years. I bought this car many years ago from the original owners that are friends of my family. This car has been in dry, indoor storage for all of its life. The paint is very nice, appears to be mostly original, and looks great needing very little attention. The right rear quarter (the stainless molding is damaged but I have a beautiful, original replacement molding that goes with the car) and front fenders show signs of vintage repair work that would need to be redone to make the car look its best. Otherwise, the paint shines and looks great. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. The seats had been covered with clear plastic seat covers from the time it was brand new up until the time I bought it. The leather on the driver’s side show slight wear from the seat cover rub but the rest of the seats and the cloth inserts are near perfect. The dash, dash pad (no cracks or warping), steering wheel, door panels, headliner and carpets look unbelievably preserved. The vinyl foot pad on the driver’s side carpet cracked but the rest of the carpets are clean and original and look fantastic. Mechanically, the car has not been started or driven since it was put in storage many years ago. The mechanics need properly gone over and need to be brought back up to running condition. Under the hood is clean and in good condition. Trunk area is also clean and well preserved with an original spare tire. Floors and frame appear to be clean and solid with original undercoating still in place. The older bias ply tires are in great condition with very few miles on them. The exterior chrome and stainless as well as the interior stainless are in beautiful condition and unbelievably nice. Overall the car is in great condition and well preserved. No disappointments!
