Thank you for looking at our 1961 Fleetwood 4 door Cadillac. I purchased this car from a body shop that was ready to totally restore it but the shop ended up having so many cars in front of it that I just bought the car from him because otherwise it could have been sitting for an unknown amount of time until it would have been finished. Over this past winter he rebuilt the transmission. The motor starts and runs well. It would make a good daily driver until the right person would want to complete the car back to original, new condition. The inside is in really nice shape for being 52 years old. The miles are actual, which read 111,222. The driver and passenger windows work well, but some of the other windows on the car do stick. The driver and passenger’s front floor pans do have rust. The brakes on the car need to be bled. It does stop, but I have been using the emergency brake, and so if you purchase the car you will have to get a strong pedal before you can drive it all the time. All of the chrome on the car looks really good for the year, but there is some rust on the frame of the car. Please check out all of the pictures. The frame of the car is very solid, and so is the trunk, and the whole motor compartment is also in great shape. If you’re looking for an old Cadillac that’s really cool-looking that you can tinker with and bring it back to be a cleaner, nicer classic car that’s a lot of fun to drive this car could be the right one for you, and the more that you do to the car appearance-wise and mechanically, the greater value the car will have in today’s market and in the future. I am selling this car as-is because I can’t give a warranty on a 52 year old car. If you’d like to stop out and see the car, I would like very much to show it to you.
