This is a 1959 Edsel Ranger with (what we think) is a 292 V8 engine. It only has 59,000 original miles. I cannot get a picture of the engine because the hood latch is broken. If you are interested I will have someone open it and get a picture. The vehicle is all original. When my grandfather owned in in the 1970s it was one of the top rated Edsels in the nation according to the Edsel club. My sister received it after his death and just let it sit and rust. It is still in very good condition for the age and easily repairable. All of the rust appears to be surface. It needs re-chromed and a good scrubbing. There is a hole in the windshield so that will need replaced. It was running when it was moved a year ago but I am not guaranteeing anything. It will need new tires, the hood latch repaired or replaced, possibly brakes and a lot of TLC. The ID tag says Body is 63F Color EG Trim 5 Date 09 Trans 3 and Axle 1 along with the VIN.
