I've decided to sell my 1970 VW bus. I've had it since 2001, and I've put about 23,000 miles on it. It was sitting for 15 years before I bought it in Arizona. It has been sitting for about 2 years, and I just put new brakes and new CV boots on it. It needs a few things: The windshield has four small stars, the interior door handle is missing on the sliding door, the right front turn signal lens is broken, the horn doesn't work, the right windshield wiper is missing, the body is fairly straight, but the front drivers side was pushed in in a fender bender, The driver's side door doesn't lock for some reason, and the steering wheel rocks a little bit. I just tuned the motor, and it is running fine. (carburetor rebuild, new points and condenser, oil change, and valve adjust) The only place on this whole bus where it is rusted through is under the battery, and that is in one place less than the size of a dime. All the other rust is only surface rust. This will make a really good investment for someone. Everything is original on this bus, and except for the items listed above it's complete.
