Vehicle Detail
For sale is our trusty Audi Wagon. We have owned this car for about eight years and it has been very reliable. It shows its age cosmetically but runs smoothly and works well. It has been my daily driver. On the exterior, there are the normal dings, scuffs, and several scratches that attend a vehicle of this age along with pealing clear coat along the left side of the hood and whitish clear coat on the roof. The tail-light lenses both have a little damage, one with a crack, the other with a hole. The windshield is cracked in two places. Inside, the leather of the driver's seat, passenger's seat and near the center on the back seat all have tears on the seat. In the engine compartment there is a slow oil leak in a gasket near the bottom front of the engine and an exhaust leak at a joint in the pipe. The oil requires a quart about every 1000 miles to counteract the leak. Some dash lights are burned out behind the climate control and instrument panel. Other than the negatives listed above, the car works well. It starts promply, drives smoothly, and handles well. The Quattro package makes it my first choice if I need to go away on a snowy day. It is very stable in difficult driving conditions. There are Michelin tires on the car with about 10,000 miles of life yet and I have availble the original set of alloy wheels. One of the originals is cracked which was the reason I switched to another set. The sunroof works as it should, all power windows and locks function normally and the power seats, seat heaters, power mirrors and etc work as they should. The ac blows cold and works fine. The spacious cargo compartment in the back can be further enlarged by laying the back seat forward or it can be opened up to form the third row seat. The OEM Stereo works well and a 10 disc changer is also installed in the back of the car. The reason I decided to sell this car is that I needed a truck for my upcoming work. The car can be seen and test driven at my home in central Virginia. The winning bidder may pick up the car here following payment. Please send your additional questions and happy bidding!
