2002 ford explorer xlt- is sluggish between 1st and 2nd gear. Overdrive light comes on and flashes durning this time. I took it to a mechanic and he said transmission is fine. Said its the transfer motor case which I've just purchased but haven't had put on. Air does not work. Truck still drives fine other than the problem I've mentioned above. SUV was keyed on driver side , passenger front fender and hood. Can be a good fixer upper. SUV was listed before but the buyer did not pay... I don't have time for games, if you don't intend to pay, why waste anybody's time???? SUV has 22 in rims and tires haven't been rode on much- has a 7 inch indash dvd player and a 15 inch roof mount tv installed. Very nice SUV..... Also I've stated what I was told - I'm not a mechanic.... I do not know if changing out the transfer case will fix the problem with the overdrive light. But i will send it. Full payment due in three days... Posted with eBay Mobile I've had the transfer case motor put on but the problem with the overdrive light still remains....transmission shop says the solonoid pack in the transmission needs to be replaced. i am no longer trying to put money into this suv so its being sold as is.
