Original Numbers Matching Car. 383 Commando Engine 325 HP 727 Torqflight Transmission 323 Rear Axle. 148K Miles We are starting the bidding low, this way we can give everyone a chance to bid! Original Extra Parts Illustrated in Pictures. This is an original North Carolina A/C car. It has been parked to the last 18 years. The engine and front clip was pulled in 1993. The engine was professionally machined, line bored, decked and bored .030 over. It was put back together with all the good parts. TRW forged pistons, moly bearings, mopar purple camshaft 384 lift and headers. The heads were machined with new springs and hardened seats. It has been converted to electronic mopar performance ignition with MSD Blaster coil. It was topped off with an Edlebrock performer intake and Carter carburetor. The front end was sandblasted, primed and painted to the original factory color. All original parts are including the A/C are included in the sale. The car was repainted once before I bought it. It was a cheaper paint job and the car will need to be repainted. There is rust in the bottom of both quarter panels that was poorly repaired before the car was painted. The rest of the car is solid and straight. The chrome and trim is in good shape. The interior is original with no tears. There is a crack in the dash and the carpets need replaced. The only issues besides the rust are an exhaust leak off the left side header and the brakes need to be bled. I have driven the car up and down the road recently and it is a strong runner . The car has not been inspected since 1995 when it was parked and will need to transported to its new home. This was a project I started before kids and a house came along.
