Up for auction is a 1964 Lincoln Continental. This car was described to me as a 2 owner vehicle. It has its California Black Plates on the vehicle. It shows to be in very good condition. There is minimal to no rust in the floors. fenders, doors and quarters. The trunk lid is a different story the lid itself has rust through areas, as do most of these cars, The trunk floor and inner quarter area is very nice with no rust through present. This car is very complete. It was running when parked several years ago. The vinyl top was removed to prevent rusting. At the time of the start of the auction, I have scheduled my mechanic to look at and see if he can get it started. I will post the results of his findings when they are forwarded to me. The trim and chrome on this car shows very nice. The grills looks amazing. The bumpers are straight but will require replating. The dash has a crack in the top. On Jun-19-13 at 14:53:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Today we installed a battery, poured a little fuel into the carb, she cranked right over and fired up. The engine runs smooth. No noises. A good tune up and fuel system cleaning and it will be road worthy.
