Vehicle Detail
1971 Chrysler 300 This car has been my daily-driver since the end of last year. And one of the absolute nicest driving Mopars' I've ever owned. The car had been stored for a long time and so I had my mechanic go through it and do whatever needed done. It had been a local dry Western Colorado car since brand-new. Came from a small town here, so the miles are low for a 71. Since I have owned it, the following has been done: New Tires, Battery, Complete all-temp control unit in Dash ( including the switches, not just face plate controls) JVC am/fm ipod radio,Power brake booster, carpet kit, Vinyl top, tune-up, muffler/tailpipe. Like I said, I can brag on the car because I've been driving it regularly. And never gives me problems. Options are: Power Windows, ( the rear passenger one goes up real slow , but I never use it ) Power brakes, (drum ) 440 ( RUNS GREAT EVERY DAY ! ) Hidden head-lights work flawlessly. The A.C. has never been looked at, so figure on some repair to get it going. also, there never was a windshield-washer bottle with the car when I got it, but have never had the need) there are a few small tears on the seats ( one in photo ) paint is Original, so some small rust dings scratches, and coming thru in a small way in back of each wheel well bottom. And the previous owners' in-law had accidentally backed in to the right front fender. The trim is straight, and bumper o.k. but it is there and I took a close shot of it. Since the paint is original, I would suggest that one of those paint-less dent removal companies could do a really nice job to correct it. However. I've been driving the car quite awhile now and never even think about it. I had the new am/fm installed because the previous owner had taken out the factory am radio and put in a very expensive unit that he kept. The original factory AM radio comes with the car. The power seat works, but the knob that moves forward/back is broke-off. I have the knob and the power works high/low just fine, and I just happen to fit the current seat position just fine. Also, the rear trim piece is loose on the passenger-side. I will try and get some new fasteners. (its' never fallen-off) I'm just being knit-picky. But,I value my 100 PERCENT POSITIVE Feed-back over the last 13 years on Ebay and figure being as honest as possible about stuff I'm selling is essential to keep my great rating. If you have ANY questions whatsoever, Please feel free to e-mail me. I check my e-mails daily. OVER-SEAS buyers are Welcome! I've never had any problems in that way either. Funds just need to clear as do for any other winning bidder. There is no warranty being offered or implied. Being 42 years old, it would be impossible. I would feel comfortable driving this car across the United States. The 440 might need you to make some stops for Fuel, but it would be fun. I'm liquidating a lot of my great Mopars, so check out my other great offerings as they come up! And I only added a " buy it now " to this auction because I've had so many requests to do so on my Polara Convertible and since it has met reserve so fast, I can't add it now. If you have a close offer, I can always Lower my buy it now.
