Vehicle Detail

1938 Buick Special – Business Man Coupe Odometer shows 36650. Not known if this is original miles. Was sold new in Colorado. I purchased it in Oklahoma in 1989. Not licensed for highway since 1990. Just driven here on the farm each year to keep everything working. Engine and drive train good. Can test drive if in the area. Brake wheel cylinders recently rebuilt with new seals, and master cylinder resleeved and rebuilt. Needs restoration of interior and windows. Dent in right front fender. Heater core was leaking, so it was removed and bypassed. (The core will come with car.)Speedometer indicator needle is missing. Some exterior chrome trim pieces missing.Radio has stopped working. I am including new reproduction interior plastic knobs and trim items.Feel free to ask any questions you may have. On Jun-17-13 at 11:27:14 PDT, seller added the following information: At a bidders request, I put the car up on a lift and took additional pictures. No apparent rust-through of floor pans or trunk pan. I did notice some antifreeze seepage near the top of the radiator. On Jun-22-13 at 12:31:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I did check the rocker panels again and I saw some rust-through areas on the bottom of the left-side rocker, and some paint blister at the same place on the right side rocker. I did not see any rust-through at the bottom of the doors. I am also including with the car the original Owners Manual, and many copies of registration in Colorado and Oklahoma. I am also including a new reprint of the Shop Manual for the car. The car was stripped and repainted in 1977, and I will include the receipt for this work done.
