This is a 2005 Lexus ES330. It's a one-owner car with only 63,337 miles. Everything works perfectly. The title is clear. There was never a lien on this car. It has never been in an accident. All maintenance done at prescribed intervals at Germain Lexus in Columbus Ohio. This car belonged to my father. He bought it new, with cash, at Germain Lexus when he retired, and drove it for walks in the park and doctors' appointments for the past eight years. He never used it for commuting or city driving, and he definitely wasn't racing or drifting. He loved to go to the Germain Lexus service department and chat with the staff, so he did all the necessary and preventative maintenance as often as possible -- and the car shows it. Now my father is too old to drive, so we're selling this car. The car has never had any mechanical problems. It just had an oil and filter change yesterday, June 12. Everything works perfectly. There are no noises, hesitations, or other flaws when driving. All the electrical and electronic accessories work perfectly -- including climate control, GPS, CD changer, windows, moonroof, seats, seat heating, moving pedals, and the rear window sun shade. Unlike every other 2005 ES330 on Ebay right now, this one has the GPS option. I updated the GPS map DVD just recently; it now has version 11.1 of the North American maps. The GPS option also means that there's a touchscreen-based information/entertainment system, rather than just a plain old stereo in the lower-model ES330s. The car includes two master keys and one valet key. It also includes all the original manuals. There is also the original Lexus First Aid Kit in the trunk, fortunately never used. There's not that much to say about this car, simply because it's in such perfect condition. There are no stories or excuses here. It's just a very low mileage Lexus in excellent condition. The flaws (all only cosmetic, and all clearly photographed): 1. The interior driver's side pillar and headliner area has some cigarette burn marks. My father did smoke in this car. He "tried" to always hold the cigarette outside the window, but we know how that goes. Note that there are no cigarette burn marks on the seats, nor anywhere other than in the driver's left-hand-side area. See the last few photos in the auction, which show all the burn marks in detail. There are also a few cigarette burn marks on the floor under the driver's floor mat. No marks on the floor mat itself, and you'll never see the marks on the floor if you don't remove the floor mat. 2. There are parking scuffs on the front and rear bumpers. Clearly shown in auction photos. 3. There is a long, hair-thin scratch running horizontally on the right-side doors, probably from vandalism with a key. It's not deep, and it's difficult to see unless you're in the right lighting; in fact, it was difficult for me trying to get it to show up in the photos. 4. There are two spots where drops of tree sap damaged the paint, maybe about 0.5" diameter each. One spot is on the hood, and one is on the rear deck near the trunk lid. It's in the auction photos, but difficult to see. 5. There is a bit of a cigarette smell if the wind blows just the right way through the interior. The smell isn't strong, and it's not always present, but you can sometimes smell it. I haven't done anything but a normal car wash to this car, and a good detailing would probably get rid of the smell. 6. There are some small scrapes here and there, the normal kind for a car with 60K miles. There are no flaws other than that. By my estimation, this car will easily go another 20 years. When my father was shopping for a post-retirement car, I talked him out of the Mercedes he wanted, and told him to get a Lexus, because of the quality and reliability advantage. That is obvious in our experience with this car, as it's never given us even the smallest problem. The car has a clear Ohio title. We are driving this car (just around Columbus), so the mileage will be a little bit higher than it was when we made the listing. Payment terms: A non-refundable $500 deposit payment by PayPal is due within 24 hours of auction end. This $500 counts toward the purchase price, and it is not refundable. Remainder of payment in full is due within 168 hours (7 days) of auction end, must be paid in cash, meeting me at a bank to verify that the cash is real, or by wire transfer into my bank account. I will give you the signed title, bill of sale, car keys, and car immediately when you've paid in full. I am a private seller, not a dealer, so I don't have any tricks like a "documentation fee" or a "dealer fee" or a "prep fee" or anything like that. The price you bid in this auction is the price you pay for the car. Of course, DMV registration fees, government bureau title transfer fees, and car insurance fees are your own responsibility. The car is at our house in Galena, Ohio. I will be happy to hand-deliver it to you anywhere in Columbus, Ohio. If you want to fly in to pick it up, I will be happy to pick you up at the Columbus, Ohio airport and hand over the keys to you at a coffeeshop of mutual choosing. The license plates can stay on the car when you take it, and the car is registered in Ohio until May 2014. However, we will cancel the insurance on the car as soon as we sell it, so you should have your own insurance.
