          1952 Ford Sunliner Convertible Flathead V8 Engine Rare Survivor Convertible           Great Restoration Project or Custom   43,413 miles         This is a rare car and a true barn find survivor.  Not many 1952 Ford Sunliner Convertibles were made.  This is one of only 22,534 produced and I am sure there are not too many left.  I am selling this car for my friend’s father-in-law, who has owned ithe car for many years.  He has several cars and two of his beauties must go. This car has a clear Texas title - in the sellers name.   The car has been stored in his garage for years.  It was recently tuned and is now running good.  Its been sitting in his garage for years, but it is solid and will make an excellent restoration or custom project.      In 1952 Ford refreshed their car lines, although they remained similar to the all-new 1949 Fords while the model lines were reorganized. Introduced by the Ford Motor Company in the United States, the Mainline was debuted in 1952 until 1956 and introduced as the base trim level of the '52 Ford range below the Customline and Crestline models. The top of the line was the Crestline and included the Sunliner convertible, This Sunliner Convertible is powered by a 239-cid, 110-hp V-8 engine and is finished in white with a brown convertible top and tan interior. The Ford has distinguishing brightwork detail, full wheel covers and wide whitewall tires. The Sunliner displays smart, distinctive styling that captures the state of the automobile in the 1950s.     These cars are very hard to find, especially in this condition ready for modification or restoration, ready for you to do it your way.   The current CPI Black Book value guide has this car listed with an Excellent value at $52,000, so there is plenty of room to restore this car.   This is a very solid car that once done, will be worth a bundle.  This will be a great affordable deal for someone wanting to restore this rare piece of American history.  The reserve is low, so bid early and don’t miss out at the end of the auction…..Good luck bidding.       This car is better than money in any bank account and will appreciate in value as the years go on.    I try to be as detailed as I can with my descriptions, and in the end I want this to be a pleasant experience for both of us.  All personal, and third party inspections are welcome and encouraged at any time with prior appointments.   If you need your wife’s or girlfriend’s or mother’s permission to buy this car, get it before you bid.  If you are waiting on an inheritance or trying to sell another car to come up with the funds, do so before you bid.  If you want to inspect the car, do so before you bid.
