1984 Honda V30 Magna 500 cc 4cylinder 6 speed motorcycle that is in exceptional condition with low miles. You won’t find rust on this bike, and with some minor detailing I think you can tell people it came off the show room floor. It runs superb, accelerates quickly, and shifts smoothly. The title has a mileage warning notice on it, and a previous owner said that it was because there was a speedometer problem. The speedometer problem was an annoying squeal that had no impact to the speed or mileage indicator. The speedometer was disassembled and found that the plastic gear needed lubrication. To make the repair the speedometer seal had to be broken, so I just want to be honest to the purchaser about the repair. Mileage indicated 6400 miles when I purchased it, and I believe it to be accurate. I have put on a 829 miles since I purchased it in April 2012. (I reset the trip odometer when I purchased the bike.) The bike has not been restored in any way. The exhaust is usually a good indicator of mileage, and you would be hard pressed to find any rust. No rips in the seat. No dents in the tank. Original paint, but there is a shallow scratch in the tank clear coat. There is a small dent in the left muffler where the center stand comes up to the muffler. It has new Dunlap tires. Rims are spotless with no scratches. All electrics work. There is no rust on the underside of the tank, and the frame and engine are clean. I just had the bike serviced a couple of months ago, having new carb kits installed as the carbs were beginning to drip gas. Oil and filter changed, and radiator antifreeze flushed and filled when I purchased the bike. It runs superbly now, and is a great mid-size bike that is very comfortable. Includes original service manual.
