THIS IS A RE-LIST BECAUSE OF A NON-PAYER!!!! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FINANCIAL CAPABILITY TO PAY FOR THE VEHICLE PLEASE DO NOT BID ON IT!!! FOR SALE is my 1974 Triumph Spitfire, with ELECTRIC OVERDRIVE, that appears to be pretty much an original car. After purchasing the vehicle we needed only to replace the alternator and battery. I've driven the car, it runs and drives great. The clutch is strong, the transmission shifts smoothly and the overdrive performs flawlessly. According to the sticker, the last time the oil was changed was August 13, 2002 and the mileage at that time was approximately 63, 400. The odometer currently reads 64,668 so it looks as though the car has been driven only about 1,270 miles in the last eleven yrs. Even though the car looks to have only original miles, the title says "mileage discrepancy" so buy and bid accordingly. The body is very solid (see pics of outside and underbody) and even though there's evidence of a minor re-paint, it doesn't appear that there's been any major body repair and rust, if any, is very minimal. All the lights and turn signals work, the wipers & horn work and all the gauges work except the temperature gauge. There are no rips or tears in the seats or door trim panels and in fact I think they're original. The carpet is in great condition and tightly adhered to the floor boards. Overall, the interior looks pretty much like it did in 1974. The paint has a nice luster and the chrome is bright and shiny. The cover for the top needs to be replaced (the folding top mechanism, all the hardware and the old top are attached to the car) and the Tonneau has a couple of tears (see pics). There are no known mechanical issues and the car looks and drives great. Get in it and drive it whenever and wherever you wish, it's your choice, a great daily driver or weekend cruiser…or both This vehicle is being sold ABSOLUTELY AS-IS WITH NO WARRANTY OR FITNESS OF PURPOSE OR MERCANTABILITY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
