Up for bid is my 1979 F250 Super Cab Ranger XLT Lariat 4x4. I bought it a few years ago with intent to never sell it but it does not get driven enough for me to keep so I am letting it go. This truck was top of the line back in the day and its equipped with *dual battery trays *locking hood release *under hood light *under dash courtesy lights *lighted vanity mirror *cargo tie down hooks *bed side tool box *etc.... The truck has a rebuilt 400 engine that runs strong. It has great oil pressure and doesnt overheat. It drives really nice and straight down the road. Most of the parts underneath the hood have been replaced or upgraded within the last year. The truck used to be an automatic but now has a np435 four speed transmission. It has been overhauled and it has a brand new centerforce clutch. the four wheel drive works great and is shifted though a part time np205 transfer case. Truck only has one rear 19 gallon tank. Newer parts list includes: *edelbrock intake *holley 670 truck avenger *new distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires. *rebuilt steering box *F350 brake booster and master cylinder *radiator *battery *all new driveshafts/ u-joints * new dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers *fuel pump *power steering pump * starter solenoid *ignition module *voltage regulator *etc..... It has a 6" skjacker softride lift with rear lift springs Dana 60 high pinion front axle with 4.10 gears and crossover steering. A Gm corporate 14 bolt was swapped in the rear with disc brakes and also has 4.10 gears with a detroit locker. The truck does not have a parking brake. 38x15.5x16 toyo mud terrains on 16x10 eagle alloys series 058. The truck still has its original paint. the body is straight for the most part but is not perfect and has a few dents, dings, and scratches but the truck is solid it as been in CA all its life and has no major rust. it has some surface rust on the hood and a bit underneath the drivers door. The windshield needs to be resealed it leaks when it rains. The interior is decent and has had the front seat reupholstered and new carpet installed. All the gauges and lights work. The fuel gauge is off so at 1/4 tank I take precaution to fill up. It has a kenwood cd player with new speakers. Truck has no a/c but the heater does work great. It has a rear bench seat but if the buyer is interested I also have a set of rear jump seats complete with seat belts that I will include. Overall this truck is mechanically sound and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has been very reliable and has not left me stranded. This truck really turns heads and I get thumbs up everytime I take it out. The truck has a clean and clear CA title in my name. It does not pass CA emissions and is being sold as-is with no warranty.
