The truck spent its' life in southern Colorado and was likely used in the oil and gas industry. It's a work truck, not a straight oil field truck, but it has been used for work. The paint and body are decent, interior is comfy, everything works, tires are pretty fair and it's priced well. It runs and drives quite well and probably has another 160k to go just fine. If you need a good service truck this is a sound choice. exterior The paint and body on this pickup are pretty good for the mileage and it being a dark color. It has a clean history and doesn't appear to have been in any accidents. The paint all matches, everything lines up ok, and there's no body damage. The wheels are a little faded out, fair shape, tires have decent but not new tread. They'll be fine for a little while yet. The truck has a cow catcher up front and an aluminum airgate in the back, the brush guard looks good, tailgate doesn't look so hot. It does have a hitch in the bed. The truck has some pitting on the lower rockers from dirt roads, few small nicks and marks, and light scratches. It has been waxed and came up pretty good, fine for the job. We did replace the broken turn signal lens on the passenger tow mirror. The photos document it well. interior The interior is in good overall condition. The upholstery isn't all worn on the drivers seat, so it probably has mostly freeway mileage. The carpet has a little wear and a delaminated spot under the rear bench that doesn't much show. This is a full XLT, nicely optioned and all the accessories seem to be in good working order. Yep, air blows cold. mechanical This pickup has been fleet maintained and it came in running well. Like so many Fords, it needed an exhaust manifold and a gasket. (If you've seen the design, you'd know why, they're tiny.) We changed the oil, filter, a few coil packs, and took care of a few other details. The truck drives nice and straight, it shifts smooth, motor has good power, doesn't rattle, front end isn't all worn out, and the 4x4 works fine. There's no check engine lights, but the low tire light seems to come and go. We typically don't bother with them on these trucks because they come on all the time. These trucks are super durable, and although this one was used for work, it does drive civilized, and it doesn't feel tired.
