"BABY BLUE" A fantastic example of a Triumph TR3 that includes all restoration documentation. Starts and runs and drives like a TR3 should. I purchased this Triumph from its original owner. The car was based in ND where it never saw a winter (ND does not use road salt) This car was bought and restored so it could be driven in a May wedding. Notice the rare chrome convertible top frame and original large numbered shift knob. The body is rust free and very solid, the original sheetmetal was excellent and was soda blasted, it has been preserved during the restoration. The frame is also rust free and was powder coated. All of the suspension, control arms, and steering components are new. The drive train is also new including a rebuilt rear end, new clutch, hydraulics, drive shaft and U joints. All new brakes, cylinders, and new tires. The motor has had both a TOP and BOTTOM end complete overhaul and the dual SU carb's have been rebuilt. The electrical system is new and a new wiring harness was installed, during that process the car was converted to negative ground and an alternator was installed for reliability and the distributor was rebuilt. This TR3 has a Lucas performance coil, ignition and spark plug wires. The interior is new and sound deadening was installed beneath the carpet. New stainless steel exhaust from the manifold back. Although it is not pictured a convertible top, side curtains, side curtain mounting hardware, and toneau cover is included. Along with Mirrors and a handful of additional new parts including new seat rails . I also have the rear bumper over riders and front bumper mounting and the original toolkit. I just changed the oil and filled her up with a new tank of gas, she's ready to put a smile on your face and for summer driving! For an additional $500 at the auction close I will include a set of (5) white wire wheel w/knockoff's and adapters. I painted the steel wheels dark blue and they looked so fantastic with the chrome caps that I couldn't put the wire wheels on it, it just looked too good! Car will sell, no reserve!
