Here we have my 1969 Honda cl175 scrambler. Bike runs great, is currently registered and insured, and is great on gas. The story i was given when i bought this bike was that it's supposedly one of 3 vietnam era military cl175's that were tried out as recon bikes strapped to the back of tanks. I never really put much effort into researching that so i can neither confirm or deny the story. I will say that EVERYTHING on this bike is olive drab and it had some old wiring to a m1a jeep horn on the headlight that looked really old. When i bought the bike the previous owner kept the horn but left the wiring explaining the hole in the headlight can. The parts and labor i have put into this bike include; new brake shoes front and rear, new fork seals, new mirrors, adjusted all chains, timing, new plugs, reupholstered the seat (it was the same white canvas before i re did it), and a general cleaning without completely taking the paint off. Im asking $1500 obo or possible trade. Im looking for a bigger bike to build into a cafe racer so something like an older cb or cx/gl at least 500 cc. Also i have this listed locally so this auction could end at any time.
