Vehicle Detail
Hello. You are bidding on a 1967 Camaro coupe. It is a Los Angeles built car. Original colors are red exterior, red interior. Condition is as follows: Drivetrain: Has early 70s 350 engine with powerglide transmission. Engine is basicly stock other than an HEI ignition, Edelbrock intake and carb, and headers. Runs, drives and shifts fair/decent but has been sitting for awhile. Since I`ve owned the car, I have only driven it around the block, thats it. That being said, you will want to give this car a complete onceover, tuneup and safety check etc before considering driving it on the highway. Rear tires are old and weather checked. The front suspension looks to have been rebuilt as the balljoints, and control arm bushings had been replaced at some point. Tie rods, idler arm and pitman arm are tight and appear in good shape. Rear end has been upgraded to an 8.5 ten bolt with multi-leaf springs in place of the factory 8.2 mono-leaf settup. No serious leaks anywhere. Has power steering and manual drum brakes. Interior: Tired but complete and functional, but will need an interior kit eventually. As you can see, this car came factory with red standard interior. Note the door jambs are still in original paint. Seats had been reupholstered at some point, but are faded. Headliner was replaced at some point also and is still in nice shape. Pretty much everything else you see is original other than a non stock steering wheel. Console is in great shape with original shifter. Factory radio holes are uncut/unmodified. Upper dash is unmodified and has no rust. Steering column is tight and in good working. Speedo, warning lights and gas gauge work fine. Headlights, running lights, turn signals, and brake lights all work. Window and door regulators work fine, I have never tried the quarter windows. Doors hang and shut great, but will need work on the lock mechanism. Wipers work, horn and heat controls do not. Glass is in good shape, no cracks. Body: Excellent floors and trunk as you can see. Looking at the door and trunk jambs, the car appears to have one single repaint over the original red. Lower trunk floor has surface rust only, and does not need trunk floor replacement or have major pitting or weak spots. Note original spatter paint is still intact otherwise. This car still has all its original GM panels other than the drivers front fender, header panel and valance. Fender, header panel and valance are also original GM panels from a donor car. This car will need some bodywork here and there, but no major panel replacement due to rust or major body damage. As you can see, the car is very solid. Floors even under the carpet inside are solid and very rust free. Needs MINOR rust repair on a couple spots low on the wheelwells, low on the front fenders, and at the base of the rear window. This rust is small and very manageable. I have pictures I can send of these areas. All body panels on the car can be used upon an eventual repaint. Note the underbody really doesn`t even have much in the way of surface rust. POTENTIAL BUYERS: I have described this car as honestly and as accurately as possible, and to the best of my knowledge, but please, if you need additional pics, or have any questions, ask BEFORE bidding as this sale is final with no warranty and I want you to be happy with the car. BIDDERS WITH 15 OR LESS WILL CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING AS I WILL CANCEL YOUR BIDS OTHERWISE. I HAVE DEALT WITH TOO MANY NON PAYING BIDDERS IN THE PAST AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. SORRY.
