Up for sale is an all metal 1935 2 door custom Chevrolet sedan. The mechanic who was putting this car together had a tragic accident and cannot finish the car. Over $30,000 has been invested in top quality parts for the undercarriage, driveline, interior and engine. The 350 Chev motor has been blue printed and runs great. The car has all new components. It runs and drives great with lots of power. This is a partial list of things I know about the car: TCI frame, Hyatt front end, Genie Shifter, Ididit steering system, Classic Guages, Ford 9" rear end, four bar coil over suspension, Ford rack and pinion, front disck brakes, very expensive Billet wheels. The seats are done in a high quality leatherette. The headliner is proffesionally done and a very nice blond wood has been utilyzed for the door panels and dash. The body is very straight with original fenders and no rust. It would take very little to finish this car and have a $40,000 to $50,000 custom hot rod. This is part of an estate liquidation and I have described the car as best I can. I am in the busuness of doing complete original restorations on classic and collector vehicles and custom work is not my expertise, but I know good restoration work when I see it and this car has been done correctly, albiet customized. I have had the local hot rod club members apraise the car as it sits and have estimates between $25,000 and 35,000. The starting bid is $17,500, which would be a steal for this vehicle. There is no reserve. I would be happy to pick up anyone interested, from the SLC International Airport to inspect the car. $500 is due within three days of the auction's close and the balance due within 7 days of the auction's close.
