2002 BMW M Roadster S54 No Reserve. Auction will not be ended early. True Auction -- High bidder at or above starting bid will own this car. 18,200 Miles. Immaculate condition. Always garaged with car cover, never in snow. Per the BMW M Registry, only 1,565 M Roadsters with the S54 engine were produced (engine only installed in 2001 and 2002 model years). The S54 has 325 horsepower compared to the 240 horsepower of the other M Roadsters (S52). No modifications -- other than front clear turn signal lenses (originals included) and alloy engine strut bar. All services just performed so this car is truly turn key. Full fluid and filters service performed on 4/16/13 at 18,052 miles with Redline and Castrol products at Treehouse Racing (Nashville BMW Specialist). Nothing whatsoever needs to be done to the car. Just put the top down and drive. I have a professional quality paint meter which you are welcome to use at pick-up. It shows correct factory paint thickness on all panels. Professional body/mechanical inspection (at your expense) is welcomed if you desire and I will handle the drop-off/pick-up to the mechanic/shop of your choosing in the Nashville area. The car has a clear film (Autobahnd - similar to 3M) applied to front bumper, leading hood edge and side mirrors to prevent rock chips. These surfaces are in fantastic condition and the Autohahnd film looks great with no yellowing. Installation was performed by a BMW dealer. Interior is near flawless. There is slight curb rash on the two rear wheels (see pictures) and a couple of small nicks on the rear bumper (see pictures). A few small rock chips that are hard to see but very few. The exterior is in excellent condition -- not even a scratch on the underside of the low front airdam (see pic). Check other car listing sites for 01 and 02 M Roadsters. Starting Bid on this M (and it is the selling price if it's the only bid) is $5,000 below the nearest comparable listed car and $8,000 to $9,000 below all other comparables. I am selling as I don’t use the car enough having put just 5,500 miles on over 4.5 years. With a 6 year old in tow, I need a 4 seat convertible for family fun. $500 deposit required within 24 hours of auction end. However, your satisfaction is guaranteed. After you and/or your mechanic examine the car, if you are not satisfied for any reason, your deposit will be fully refunded. Shipping, if needed, is the responsibility of the buyer but I will assist in coordination in any reasonable way. In-person pick-up is welcomed. Full payment within 7 days unless other arrangements are made before auction end. Car is sold As-Is. I have the matching hardtop and hardtop cover but it is NOT included in this auction. M Roadster hardtops sell for around $1,500. The winning bidder may purchase the hardtop for $1,000 if they like. Otherwise the hardtop will be sold separately and the hardtop installation brackets/hardware will be removed from the car. There is a small scratch on one side of the hardtop.
