This is a public agency owned 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4 wheel drive pickup with 102,825 miles. It is equipped with a Vortec 6000 V8 eng., 4 speed automatic transmission, 4:10 ratio locking differential rear axle, AM/FM radio, tilt wheel, and A/C. Interior in good condition for vehicle of this age and use, 40/20/40 seating, tires are worn and need to be replaced and the heating and air conditioning blend door actuator makes a ticking noise at times. Body and paint has normal wear, dings and scratches associated with a fleet truck. Blemishes include logo removal on both doors, small dents and scrapes on both sides of the vehicle and tailgate, drives seat is worn, small tear in headliner, small holes in tunnel where radio was mounted and bolt holes in top and bottom of bed where tools boxes and beacon light were mounted (tool boxes and beacon light are not included) and two chips in the windshield. A smog certificate is provided with the vehicle. Please do not bid if you cannot meet the following requirements. Payment for the vehicle must be received in full by 5:00 PM on May 14, 2013 (or when the vehicle is picked up, whichever is earlier) at our office in Fresno, California in the form of a cashier’s check. The office is open Mon. through Fri. between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST. The vehicle is sold “As Is”, “Where Is” with “No Warranty” what so ever. The buyer must arrange and pay for shipping or pick up the vehicle in the District’s yard in Fresno, California within 7 days of close of auction. License plates have been removed from the vehicle and buyer must obtain any necessary permits to move the vehicle. Since the vehicle is owned by a public agency, the auction must run it’s full term and offers to end the auction early will not be considered. The reserve price has been set at $2,500.
