First off let me say this car has had the same owner until now for 37 years when it was bought out of Brooklyn, N.Y in 1976 (she was all original, , only thing added THEN was a NOS setup, original blue with black vinyl top).... You are now bidding on a rolling car, no motor or trani................This was a 1969 NOVA SS with the original 396, 375hp 4 speed , (NOW HAS NO MOTOR OR TRANI I REMOVED THEM) dana 60 rear 456 gears pro street ( changed to a pro street in late 70's, one of the earliests around Long Island I knew back then) . We raced this car at National Speedway on Long Island many weekends (befor the pro street change, stock motor with a few upgrades she ran very low 11's). This car has no rust issues, doors shut new, original dash, door panels and headliner still in car..... She has full gauges, line lock, MSD ignition, fuel cell, kill switch, lightened radiator support and inner fenders (set up for raceing) but is still perfectly streetable as all electrical and other inspectable components are intact...... The hood was bought in 1970 for his first Nova SS big block 375hp he bought brand new and is the full fiberglass YENCO style lift off.... The car is black and does clean up decent to run around with, the paint is at least 20 years old and should be repainted (possibly back to blue)......This car has never seen snow, very little rain and until 2002 (last time registered) he drove it around the block TWICE, befor that it sat in the garage for at least 20 years. It still has the tow bar tabs below the bumper and I have the tow bar we used back then.... I know the full history on this car just ask. Gary bought a brand new 1969 Nova SS 375 hp 396 4 speed back in late 1969 and befor he died wanted to remove the drive train from this car and rebuild another 69 Nova back to his first car and thats what I am going to do. He was going to build a radical small block for this body and have fun again at the track......
