Vehicle Detail

Standard bike - one of the last UJMs (Universal Japanese Motorcycle) made. Riding position is fairly upright, not leaning forward like a sportbike or back like a cruiser. Does everything pretty well. Suited for short trips around town (40-42 mpg), or longer trips on the highway (50-52 mpg).18,502 miles. Four-cylinder engine, five-speed transmission. Tires have plenty of tread left.Carbs recently cleaned and synced about 200 miles ago, new throttle cables about 200 miles ago, new fork seals about 4000 miles ago. OEM windshield, sissybar, and engine guards. Grip Puppies. Like many Nighthawk 750s, the tach doesn't work, but everything else does. Cosmetically good - a cigarette burn on the seatcover, a few scratches here and there, a little corrosion on some of the aluminum parts. Clean title, current inspection.Honda's DOHC inline-four in these bikes is known for its reliability. Keep gas in the tank, oil in the crankcase, and air in the tires, and she's good to go. Air-cooled with carburetors - if you can't work on it yourself, it's simple enough that taking it to a shop won't cost you an arm and a leg. They don't make bikes like this anymore. Combine the comfort, reliability, and power with the fairly light weight (462 lbs) and you have a bike that just about anyone can ride and enjoy.
