Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The Corvette starts right up and purrs like a Mountain Lion. Not even a puff of smoke, just the sound of a loping cam. I purchased this Corvette several years ago from the previous owner who said he went through all the mechanics, and had the motor professionally rebuilt. Then he lost interest and parked it before tackling the body. It looks like that's the case. The motor appears as if it has a fresh rebuild. I can see the new Blue Permatex and a freshly painted block. The header gaskets are bright white. The motor looks and sounds like it was rebuilt and never used. It has the original Numbers matching motor. There is a decal that lists the aftermarket cam that they installed (see pic's). It has a new stainless steel exhaust system (The headers are not stainless steel and have surface rust). It has an Edelbrock manifold. The Tires appear to be brand new. The interior appears complete and in great shape (there are cracks on dash). Original A\C car. (The compressor is missing). Now the rest: It's been sitting. I started it regularly, and have infrequently driven it around the block. It has been sitting in my garage since I purchased it years ago. I never got around to the body work, but I confirmed that the fiberglass is perfect except for the small fix needed on the right front corner. (see pics). The corvette has been partially bladed and needs to be finished. The steering wheel horn cap needs to be attached. If you see missing bits in the pictures, they are probably in the two boxes of trim that I will include with the car. The rear bumper cover is not bolted to the car and probably should be replaced like the one missing on the front. The car should be transported to the new owners location, because the brakes are sketchy (need to be bled), and one appears to be bound, as I hear it when driving the car.
