Sorry for the inconvenience. Up for auction is a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 series 4x4 Stake Body Dump Truck. Features a 5.9L V8 engine and automatic transmission. This is a one owner gov't fleet vehicle. The 4x4 feature would make this a great plow truck. Dump body does not currently work and is being sold as a stake body. This is a good heavy duty work vehicle. Working amber beacon light. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. 631-871-3459 (Seth). Condition Drivetrain Engine starts right up and runs strong. 142k miles. Shifts into and through all gears smoothly as it should. No engine knocks, smoke, or visible leaks. There is a pretty good exhaust leak. Has new battery. Exterior Body is in overall rough shape as you can see. The cab is solid and has dents and some minor rust spots. The driver side door looks to have been replaced as the paint doesn't match. The key does not work in the doors. The frame of the truck is solid with just surface rust. The majority of the rot is on the frame of the dump body. Dump body is NOT working and will require repair to the pump motor and frame. Functions only as a stake body currently. Interior Interior is in fair to poor condition with typical wear for a work truck. Seats are intact with the exception of a tear om the driver seat as you can see. The radio does not emit any sound. There are some missing plastic trim pieces and some are cracked. · Tires have approximately 25%+ tread remaining. I have test driven approximately 20 miles and listed any known and obvious defects. There may be repairs required and additional defects. As I recommend to all my customers, you should have your mechanic look over any newly purchased vehicle before extensive use. I have tried to list as many details about this vehicle as I can, including known defects. There may be deficiencies that I am not aware of so buyers are encouraged to inspect in person.
