Vehicle Detail

1971 Plymouth R/R, RM23N car. I bought this car with the intent of restoring it some day, but have 2 others that are eating up the cash fast. First let me begin by saying the car does not have the original motor or 4 speed tranny. However when i bought the car it came with a 1970 440 and 833, 4speed witch is included (check out the pics). The car itself i bought for 1 reson The Metal its all original. There are no cuts or patches on this car nothing has ben replaced. The frame rails and undercarrage are very nice to i have ben all around this car and see nothing major. Thats not to say it is rust free, it has small spots here and there but nothing were you would have to replace a whole quarter. The odometer reads 42,048 and i believe this to be true. This car needs a good restoration and is more than worthy of one. It came from the factory with a Big Block, 4spd, A/C, PB, 26"RAD, 150mph speedo with tach, and its original color was: In Violet. Plymouths name, Dodge called it Plum Crazy Purple same paint code. This car is very complete body and interior wise the grills are all good as is the front & rear valences, fenders, doors, are good, quarters are nice only the passenger side front lower quarter has a small rust spot. Some one oviously did a terrible paint job on the car and sprayed red primer inside the engine compartment. The good news is that they left much of the original purple color all over the car as you can see in the pics. Dont ask me why some one cut holes in the fender wells inside engine compartment? my guess is as good as yours. I do have a set of original fender well pieces that you could cut your patch out of that are included. I also have the drip rail mouldings you see missing on the car and they are in very good shape. Car has 489 posi with large yoke(2 5/8") iether 355s or 333s.I have heavy duty drive shaft to with correct 2 5/8" yokes. New BF Goodrich Tires up front, rears are like new also, rims are new. The dash in this car is amazing no cracks and is missing nothing. I have over 100 pics of this car and the many extra parts going with it.I cant show it all to you because i can only put up 24 of them.So if you are really interested send me your email and i will send you all the pics. Car was also manual steering but i converted it to power with a colunm from another 71 R/R. New power steering box from Stevens Performance. I also have some extra parts for the motor, valve covers timing chain cover ect. Some of the extras: New Hayes HD clutch, new fly wheel, original 440 six pack intake, original 11"cast bell housing.extra wind shield, door with glass, trunk deck, chin spiolers, complete set of original black interior panels, pass and driver correct dual sport mirrors,71 Satelite hood,1970 440 motor,833-4spd with everything, all my parts are originals. There are some things i dont have if you dont see it in the pics then its not there. Please call 914-419-4749. 8am-8pm mon-sun. with questions. Come and take a look if you can any days are good but Wensday. This is a good car and deserves a good home. I know ther is much i missed, i will post more as things come to me. Ther were only around 3,400 of these cars produced in 71 with a factory 4 speed i wonder how many of them came with a big block 4speed a/c, power discs and plum crazy. This car had a lot of nice factory options. Check out the fender tag and decode it. It has a partial build sheet but it is only the lower half upper half just kind of erroded over time. It has a clear title and comes with a New York Registration that is in my name. Winning bidder must pay $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending. Car must be picked up 7-10 days of auction ending or sooner and payed with Certified bank check or Cash Only! I can load on trailer for you. please check auction regulary as i will post more info or parts as i go threw them. The reserve on this car and all thats going with it is Ridiculous dont be afraid to bid, its less than you think. Thanks & good luck. On Apr-01-13 at 17:31:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Will get all the other pictures posted on photo bucket tomorrow (4-2-13). I have at least 60 more. Thanks. On Apr-02-13 at 11:36:09 PDT, seller added the following information: to see more pictures of the car look at http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/carmineb7/library/1979%20plymouth%20Roadrunner?page=1#/user/carmineb7/library/1979%20plymouth%20Roadrunner?page=1&_suid=136492765770305498106886350779On Apr-02-13 at 12:22:10 PDT, seller added the following information: For those of you that would be interested in the car and would have to have it shipped, dont worry about the 7- 10 days that the car must be picked up. I cant go in and change that now E-Bay wont let me.You can have as much as 20 days but you will have to pay the $500.00 pay pal deposit within 24 hours of end of auction. i would not like to have to wait that long 2 weeks would be great but i would go 20 max. I am also throwing in a 1971 400 big block motor it has a lot of good pieces on it you could use on the 440. I will try to get a picture up of it in a day or 2. Another thing nice about this car is you know what you are getting the undercarrage has never ben touched its still virgin. The only thing that was done is a half ass paint job. Its not like your buying a car thats all restored and you dont really know whats ben done to it. With this one what you see is what you get. I put up over 90 pictures to show you as much as this car as possible, just click on the link i have posted. Please ask or call with any questions what so ever before you bid if you are interested. I will be honest and straight foward. I did not want to let this car go but some times you dont have much of a chioce. I guess if you come and pick it up in person you will see the other cars i am working on. Thanks again. On Apr-04-13 at 19:22:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is another link with some more pictures of some more parts & 400 motor i am including with the sale of the car just click on it. The 400 is dated 12-5-71 and is a cast crank motor but the heads are good for a 440 or 383 also and the block is standard bore, a lot of guys like to stroke these motors, you could use the pullys and water pump for the 440. I dont know if its worth your money to ship it? Thats up to you? But if you come with a car trailer your self its worth the taking. There is also a set of HP exhaust manifold they are different dates (1968-1973) but would work on your motor if you are not building some 100 piont show car. There is a very nice big block original power steering pump, new windage tray, and steel forged crank vibration damper for the 440. I also threw in an original 1971 radiator it is 26 inch and was correct for a 71 challenger it is only a 2 core but if you have a rad shop around they can easily make it a 3, the tanks are the important pieces and it has the correct mounting brackets. There are the left and right fender well pieces to, maybe you want to cut your patches out of these the metal will have the same contour. Think thats it for now. Thanks. http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/carmineb7/library/#/user/carmineb7/library/?page=1&_suid=136512728179605065218312514441
