Vehicle Detail
1999 Buick Riviera Hello, You are bidding on a very nice 1999 Buick Riviera with 140,000 miles. The car is in great shape to be 14 years old. It has the Supercharged 3800 V-6 engine that runs very strong. It has all options that were offered in 1999, and originally sold for around $30,000.00. I purchased this vehicle for my son, and he did not like it because of the size. I have had the car serviced and checked out and it needed a few things. I replaced the fuel pump and crank position sensor, and had it tuned up. It drives like a dream, very quick with the supercharged engine, and does fairly well on fuel. I would love to keep the car, but I have 3 others, and do not need it. It would make a great second vehicle, or if you travel a lot it is very smooth on the interstate and around town. I forgot to mention that I replaced the exhaust. It has a new catalytic converter and 2 new mufflers. If you would like to come see the Riviera before bidding I will be happy to show you the car. I have not been able to check the A/C because it has been very cold here, but I am pretty sure that it works. If it does not I will have it repaired before delivery. I am very particular about my vehicles and refuse to sell junk. This is a nice car and you will not be disappointed. The interior and exterior of the Riviera are in fair shape. The paint is still shiny, but could use a good waxing. The interior is leather and in good shape. It has minimal wear on the driver's seat and the rest looks almost new. If you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer promptly. Good Luck Bidding, BobbyOn Apr-04-13 at 18:46:39 PDT, seller added the following information: 04/04/13: I have had several questions about tires. The Riviera has excellent Goodyear Eagle tires. They were on the car when I purchased it, and I was told that they had very few miles. They look near new, and ride/handle very well. I have also been asked about the paint and door dings. The paint is in pretty good shape for a 1999. There is no fading, and it could use a good wax job. There are a few door dings here and there, but nothing major. There is a small scrape on the driver's door that lloks like it was opened on a concrete wall. I have door edge guards that will cover the scrape. I took it to a body shop and they recommended the door edge guards. There is a small rock dent in the hood that is not noticable unless you are looking for it. There is a small place on the rear bumper about the size of a nickel that has been touched up with paint that is slightly different ion color, but very close to the original color (I used the GM code for the car, but it is slightly darker). One buyer asked about the drivability of the car. I have been driving it to and from work (80 mile round trip without any problems, and there are no warning lights on the dash. The car has been fully serviced in the last 3 months and should last for many years. It is a used car with no warranty, but it is a very nice car and for the money you cannot beat it. I have set the reserve price very low ($1500.00 below retail), and I expect the car to sell. If you have any questions please ask. If you would like to come see and drive the car before bidding please let me know and I will make arrangements. I forgot to mention in the listing that the engine looks great, and I will put some pictures of it on here Friday. Bobby
