This is a 1979 Chevrolet K-30 1 Ton 4x4 Four-Wheel Drive Custom Deluxe. The truck currently has 14,120 original miles. I bought this truck about 4 years ago and it was manufactured by Pierce Manufacturing as a Mini-Pumper Attach Brush fire truck for a small Volenteer Fire Department in Wisconsin. I bought the truck with the vision of taking off the Utility Pumper Station off the back and mounting a custom flatbed which I ended up doing. I have the original Blue Prints from Pierce Manufacturing that show various details of the truck. Very solid truck! The truck is in excellent mechanical condition. The engine and transmission have zero leaks! Runs and drives great. There is an 8,000 lb PTO Winch mounted on the front diamond plated bumper. There are Dual PTO's. I still have the drive shaft that runs off the PTO that powered the rear pumper station. I had originally thought about putting a hoist on the truck. There is a commercial grade Federal Signal Corporation Emergency service unit installed. It controls all the emergency lights, siren, and the PA system (the PA is very loud and works great! My favorite!). The first thing that I did was put on a Maxwell Flatbed on the truck. The flatbed has great function with drop down sides that have made is extremely easy for unloading or loading. I as put on a cargo box with lock. This cost me $2,500. There is some rust that has developed on the truck that I have had intentions of fixing. Rust in the wheel wells, lower rear front fenders, and driver side floor boards. If this repaired I could say this truck was in excellent condition. This can be repaired easily.
