Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1989 BMW 325ic. I bought this early winter of 2012 and have put a few new items here and there and up until recently was running great. But we'll get to that, first lets start with the good. The good: *Transmission is in great shape, newer master cylinder and clutch pack, shifts and operates like new with ultra smooth clutch actuation. *all glass is flawless with no chips or cracks*brand spanking new convertible top, made from Hartz vinyl and dot approved rear window (black)*momo racing steering wheel (aluminum) with wood style covering*momo racing manual shift knob*new water pump *newer battery*new fuel pump *totally original wheels and body with very minimal rust and damage just usual blemishes with a couple imperfections * I'm the third owner and the owner before me has owned it since early 90's and I have all title records going back to her purchase of it*have two keys, one is the original "valet" key*original owners manuals and glovebox flashlight*overall very solid *new cat back oem style exhaust*hood, top, and trunk all open and close fantastic with all mechanics in great shape The bad: *whike idling at a light last week the car died, and wouldn't start so I towed it home and proceeded to discover that the timing belt tensioner must have failed and let the bro come loose. Now the timing belt and tensioner are less the. 4 months old soo this is very disappointing to me since I have soo much invested and it was running fantastic before it died. I have no time to tear I apart to inspect for bent damaged valves but it does turn over and no external signs of catastrophic failure soo may be an easy fix. *lether seats are bad shape, foam is in decent shape with no mold but leather was never treated or taken care of soo it's shriveling and cracking everywhere. *other then other little blemishes there's nothing Wrong with the car aside from the unknown engine damage I have my first child on the way and this has to go. I wish I had the time or money to finish this but I don't soo my loss your gain. The car is sold as is and I have the right to end auction for outside sale. Good luck bidding and any questions feel free to ask.
