Vehicle Detail
1948 Triumph Tiger 100. Four and one half year, every nut and bolt restoration by noted Triumph specialist, Jaye Strait of Britech, New England. 22 miles since restoration. This motorcycle has been on display in my living room for several years. No expense spared. Over $24K invested. New or correct almost everything. Primary drive converted to belt drive. NO OIL LEAKS. Engine and drive train expertly rebuilt using only correct Triumph parts. Tank sealed. Only a few minor fasteners and bulbs not 1948, but still Triumph. Not a 100 point bike, but very close. Far too many items to list. I have a several page list of work carried out. Can fax to serious bidders. NOS Lycett seat cost $900 alone. NOS Lucas Racing Magneto. Currently running a more modern Amal, correct, NOS Amal included. Bike was originally from Austrailia. I have lots of paperwork and documentation, plus lots of receipts. All sheetmetal professionally painted and pin striped by an award winning painter. All wear items brand new. Original books. Original style battery, still dry.) This is a very rare bike. Not a Speed Twin. Tiger 100s were a performance upgrade. Can be ridden or displayed. Museum Quality. I've only seen one other, at The Barber Museum, Leeds, Alabama.
